LAMBORGHINI
MUIRA SV
The Miura SV, a two-door, two-seat berlinetta, was introduced
at the Geneva Auto Show in 1971. The SV stands for 'Sport
Veloce' that we interperet as fast and highly tuned. Only
150 units of the SV were made during the 1971/2 production
year, each hand built to order.
From the outside the Miura SV was easily recognizable
by its bulging rear wheel arches, which accommodated the
new 9x15 Campagnolo rear wheels mated with Pirelli Cinturato
FR70VR15 tyres. The transversely mounted 3,929 cc 12-cylinder
mid-engine produced 385 bhp and was capable of reaching
a top speed of 190 mph.
